Sandra O’Connor is an exuberant, science-obsessed teen navigating girlhood and identity in early 2000s Ireland. In the months leading up to her Junior Cert, she attempts to pry fact from fiction and piece together a narrative that allows her to make sense of her life. Using a combination of what she’s been told by her parents, teachers, and Urban Dictionary, Sandra flails through puberty armed with an in-depth knowledge of almost every species' biology - except her own.

A Natural Science was developed through the LLPPS scheme with the support of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Heritage and Gaeltacht and a preview was performed in Roscommon Arts Centre on the 23rd of June 2022.
